15th Annual Kinnect (Virtual) Golf Outing
15th Annual Kinnect (Virtual) Golf Outing We’re all in this together, even on the golf course! The 15th Annual Kinnect Golf Outing will be held virtually (to protect the safety of our community) starting Saturday, August 1st, 2020 and lasting through Sunday, August 9th, 2020. Play 9 or 18 holes at the course of your choice, play putt putt with your family or hit golf balls at a driving range – sharing photos and videos of you golfing by yourself, as part of a foursome or with your family to help raise awareness for Kinnect and our programs. Registration and sponsorship opportunities are available online. All proceeds from the Outing support Kinnect’s mission of finding permanent families for children in foster care in the shortest time possible. Kinnect currently facilitates and supports four key programs in Ohio: 30 Days to Family® Ohio: currently moving 70% of children served from foster care to kin Ohio Kinship & Adoption Navigator (OhioKAN) Program: designing and launching statewide support for families Affirm Me: finding permanency for LGBTQ+ youth in the Cuyahoga County foster care system Youth Centered Permanency Roundtables: helping older youth co-create their permanency plans You don’t have to be a golfer to support the four key Kinnect programs in Ohio!
