2020 Health Expo canceled for this year, 2021 date set

The Center for Closing the Health Gap has canceled its 2020 Health Expo planned for April 25  in Washington Park. The Health Gap has scheduled next year’s event for April 24, 2021. The Health Expo is the Health Gap’s annual event bringing health care access directly to the Cincinnati community. This free event allows attendees to take advantage of a wide spectrum of free health screenings, fitness as well as local and national entertainment. Started in 2003, the Health Expo has attracted a dedicated community of followers, including thousands of attendees, local businesses, wellness professionals and healthcare partners making it Cincinnati’s largest and premier health event. The Health Expo is the Health Gap’s annual capstone highlighting the organization’s critical initiatives working to address and end health disparities in Cincinnati’s most vulnerable, minority populations. More than 110,000+ people have benefited from the 31,000+ free health screenings conducted since the event began. In addition to over 100 booths and exhibits covering health screenings, live demonstrations and fitness tips, the Expo provides attendees with valuable information for pursuing a healthier lifestyle in almost every aspect of their daily lives.  Attendees come from a broad spectrum of ethnic, social, and economic backgrounds, but all have an interest in learning, trying, and experiencing health-related products and services.
