City Year Cleveland
Ways to help | Share Job Opportunities or Advice We are asking community members to consider sharing job opportunities or hosting a webinar to share career-readiness skills with AmeriCorps members as they prepare for life after service. You might be the perfect person to offer some sage advice or help these young adults build their professional networks. See full description Learn More |

About us | Grounded in evolving research , City Year focuses on supporting the development, growth and success of students in systemically under-resourced schools, while preparing our AmeriCorps members to be leaders in their communities and careers. 76 City Year Cleveland AmeriCorps members serve in nine Cleveland Metropolitan School District schools (6 K-8 and 3 high schools) in the Glenville, Central, Slavic Village and Buckeye/Shaker neighborhoods. Young, diverse City Year AmeriCorps members, who commit to a year of full-time service and leadership development, serve as tutors, mentors and role models in our partner schools, providing holistic support to students with their attendance, social-emotional learning, and English/math coursework. |
