EYEJ amplifies youth voices for those that are silent and not only are we seeing an already brewing issue around connectivity to the Internet and access to devices dynamically increase our worries for our youth but we have learned that multiple persons in the EYEJ Youth Council who were experiencing toxic stress already have additional worries around survival due to COVID-19 such as parents losing jobs, access to food, medicine, worries about graduating, passing courses, parents losing their jobs and more. The good news, is youth are resilient and strong and we hope to get through this and see positive change come alive.
