Connected to Organization --- not set --- Opportunity Title DescriptionNWT is currently engaging our youth through all programs and productions ages 9-18 to create the Isolation Project. This program will have youth work with theatre professional over digital formats in creating an original production based on their experiences during the Coronavirus crisis. This program will focus on youth equity, a relatively unheard voice during this crisis, having them speak directly with community and audiences. Social and emotional support is also critical during these times as youth have been removed from their community and social settings, and by doing such, are at risk of losing their identity. Our program will be facilitated by our production team and contracted artists teaching storytelling, script writing and production management. Youth will also have an opportunity to engage in peer to peer mentorships, supporting one another through this crisis.
