Discover art from home with the Cincinnati Art Museum

The Cincinnati Art Museum is still closed, but there are plenty of ways to explore history and culture from home.

Did you know we’re hosting our first-ever digital expo? Check out 10×10 Teen Art Expo to view ten artists’ visions of what “Dreams” mean to them.

The museum is also offering other creative programming and interpretive content online and via social media. Our new Facebook Group, CAM Connect, is a fun, new resource where you can learn more about the permanent collection, engage with staff and fellow art-lovers and take part in fun artmaking activities. Join the group here.

On the website, browse the collection to explore over 67,000 works of art and learn more about their unique histories and impacts.

Listen to Art Palace, a podcast where host Russel Ihrig (Associate Director of Interpretive Programming) “meets cool people and then talks about art.” With different guests from all walks of life, he shows how everyone can have conversations about art and culture. New episodes are posted approximately every two weeks.

Read the blog for “Behind the Scenes in Conservation” posts by our curators. Learn about record keeping, forensics and working on the collection from home.

You can also visit the museum’s YouTube page for art-making activities, guided yoga, accessibility content and more.

Finally, join us for Art After Dark At Home on CAM’s Instagram Live, to watch performers, learn how to make cocktails and enjoy our city’s art. The event takes place on the last Friday of the month.
