Lemonade From Lemons!
Our entire spring program was canceled due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Our local chapter, therefore, is unable to serve the ~100 children who would have been able to participate in our 6 week after-school activity based character development program. Our culminating event, The Dream Chaser Challenge, has also been canceled, which is the main source of generating sponsorship revenue for our nonprofit.
In order to still be able to serve students in this time of need, we quickly pivoted and created a free online resource with 40+ days worth of character-development & movement curriculum, to inspire kids and their families to embrace the values of a Dream Chaser: Pursuing their Passion, Creating a Supportive Team in their lives; and Overcoming Obstacles that life throws in their way! We hope this online resource will reach thousands of students and families and serve as a way to positively impact people in this time of struggle and uncertainty.
