Ways to help | Therapeutic Horsemanship VolunteerOur dedicated volunteers are the heart of our program as side walkers, leaders, helpers in the barn, and instructors. No experience necessary, but must be 14 years of age or older, and attend orientation prior to volunteering. Located at Camp Cheerful in Strongsville.Adapted Sports VolunteerAdapted Football, Baseball, Soccer and Wheelchair Youth Basketball – Share your love of sports with children with disabilities and special needs! We need coaches, referees, game day operations, or volunteers needed to be available to help in whatever way is needed. All volunteers attend an informational training session prior to the beginning of each sport’s season. |

About us | The Achievement Centers for Children serves children and adults with a broad range of disabilities and special needs including autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, and other physical, developmental, neurological, and emotional challenges. We use a family-centered approach to provide comprehensive services for children and adults with disabilities and their families at three area locations: Highland Hills, Westlake, Camp Cheerful in Strongsville and virtual and telehealth services. |
