Ways to help | Faith Outreach RepresentativeLiaisons between the Alzheimer's Association and local faith groups or congregations. They share information about Alzheimer’s disease, our free resources, and ways to join our cause at local community and education events.Support Group FacilitatorHelp facilitate support groups that provide emotional, educational and social support to those caring for someone living with Alzheimer’s or another dementia. Click here for facilitator job description.Special eventsAssist with the planning and execution of fundraisers such as Walk to End Alzheimer’s, The Longest Day and Memory Day, Committee member tasks include recruiting team members, raising revenue, increasing awareness and implementing event activities.Physician Outreach RepresentativeCommunity engagers that raise awareness of Alzheimer's Association programs and link medical professionals to these services. These volunteers serve as a liaison between the Alzheimer’s Association and local medical professionals. Tasks include direct phone calls to physician offices, preparing direct mailings, delivering information to physician office locations.Program Tech SupportProgram Tech Support volunteers assist Alzheimer's Association staff and volunteers deliver education and support groups through virtual platforms. |
