Benjamin Rose Institute on Aging
About us | Founded in 1908, the Benjamin Rose Institute on Aging is a Cleveland-based nonprofit whose mission is to advance support for older adults and caregivers. We do this by providing direct service to older adults and their caregivers, engaging in applied social research, and leading advocacy efforts on behalf of the aging population. The Eldercare Services Institute (ESI) of Benjamin Rose provides a full range of services designed to help older adults remain independent in the community and transition to alternative care and housing options when appropriate. Services including: adult day services, behavioral health services, including day treatment, social work, Senior Companions, and WeCare, a telephone-based care coaching program for older adults with chronic conditions and their caregivers. Through our subsidiary organizations, Rose Centers for Aging Well and Empowering and Strengthening Ohio’s People (ESOP), we provide additional programs and services that enable a holistic approach to assisting older adults who are aging in place. Throughout our history, Benjamin Rose has remained responsive to the evolving needs of older adults and their caregivers. We continue to develop and manage innovative long-term services and supports, to conduct research that further improves our understanding of services for older people and the policies that make better services possible, and to share our work in northeast Ohio and across the country. |
