Ways to help

Day or Evening Outreaches

Day Outreach: We meet at a Community Center to prepare the Columbus Relief bus for outreach together. After tasks are completed and bus is loaded, we circle together for a mini orientation and prayer. Traveling to location, we spend some time in worship and prayer. Everyone has an opportunity to serve in multiple stations if they would like to. (5 Star Bistro, War Room, Dining area, Blessing Walk, etc.) Evening Outreach: The evening will begin with prayer and a 15-minute Round Meeting. The outreach leader will help you prepare for the evening. Groups of 2-4 people will walk the streets of Columbus sharing a blessing kit to those that me meet.

Outreach Preparation

Together we prepare all the food, toiletries, clothes and reading material to load onto the bus. You will have the opportunity to help prepare the meal we will be serving, make hygiene kits and organize in-kind donations for distribution to our guests.

How you helpThank you for volunteering! Many people we serve are desiring spiritual and emotional support. They are usually without a home, struggling financially, hungry, needing clothing or connection to resources along with the struggle of an addiction and/or mental illness.
About usOur faith inspires us to a team built on community. We want to use our mobile relief bus to connect us to the people that have needs, and connect them to organizations and people who have the resources to meet those needs. As an organization, we want to be strong in being able to provide hospitality with grace, and do it in a dignified manner. We want to be financially responsible and generous at the same time. We want to offer training and job resources. We have chosen to be a 501c3 Non-profit Organization as we use the funds we are given in service of the community we are looking to transform. Our staff raises their own support with some administrative support from the organization.
