Administrative/project support

As with any organization, administrative tasks are the behind-the-scenes projects that support the programs and staff who work directly with consumers. Individuals who volunteer in our administrative offices will be able to see, first-hand, the importance of these job responsibilities.

About us Columbus Speech & Hearing Center was established in 1923 as the League for the Hard of Hearing. The League focused on assisting hard-of-hearing individuals in the Columbus community to improve their ability to communicate. Over time, the League experienced name and location changes; however, the desire to help individuals in the central Ohio area remained.Focusing on the needs of the community, the League evolved into the programs that exist at Columbus Speech & Hearing Center today, which include Audiology & Hearing Aid services, Speech-Language services and vocational rehabilitation and employment services for adults with disabilities, through CPD.
