About us | C4 operates a free thrift shop (outfitting hundreds of children annually), uses donated food to cook dinner five nights a week for hungry children who show up on its doorsteps, is a Certified Emergency Food Pantry, runs sewing, cooking, arts and crafts, and computer classes for dozens of children and teens throughout the year, shows well-attended Saturday morning children’s movies, distributes 200+ book bags filled with school supplies, 200+ Christmas Stockings and 200 holiday food baskets. It provides a “safe” clean bathroom for neighborhood teens lacking safe privacy at home. It also collects and distributes many hundreds of pounds of toiletries and personal hygiene products (including feminine hygiene) to 1000+ Mt. Pleasant children either directly or via schools including A.J. Rickoff Elementary. Additionally, it passes out many hundreds of donated books to area students. |
