Fundraising/Event SupportOne way Dayton Women in the Word raises funds for ministry needs is through fun and creative fundraising events. If you like to help collect donated items for auction items and giveaways at our events, setting up in-person events, decorating spaces, coordinating food items, or taking photos and videos of events, then we'd love for you to join our fundraising team!Open Bible NightOpen Bible Night volunteers are needed at our monthly workshops to assist with registration / check-in, setup / teardown, audio / visual needs and welcoming participants.St. V’sWe need volunteers for our St. V’s Bible Study for a few different tasks. Our onsite volunteers set up and tear down for the study, invite and welcome participants and keep inventory of supplies for each study. Our offsite volunteers for St. V’s supply snacks and Bible study supplies.Grant WritingWe continually fundraise so that we can continue to do this Kingdom work! If you love writing and you are organized and detail-oriented, then this is the role for you. Grant writers will report to and work with our fundraising lead. They can utilize our office and childcare to work on grant applications. |

| About us | In the summer of 2015, a group of women in Dayton, Ohio met to study the Old Testament book of Joshua. It didn’t look like much — 20 or so women in an empty youth room at Apex Community Church, with kids playing in childcare below. They studied God’s Word, shared what they learned and prayed for each other. It was small and simple, but powerful. What God started there, He intended to grow. |
