About usDDC Clinic - Center for Special Needs Children is a non-profit primary care and research facility serving patients with complex medical needs. We were established to help children with rare genetic disorders – disorders that are difficult and time-consuming to diagnose and treat. Our Clinic was founded on the concept of medical home as defined by the American Academy of Pediatrics and on the principle that no child would ever be turned away from the medical care he or she needs based on the family’s ability to pay. We provide medical services for patients with over 70 different rare conditions. We are recognized as a leading international medical facility for such complex disorders. We were conceived as a “gathering place;” a place of love, compassion and caring where our children and families are respected; a place where people take the time to listen and share; a place of faith and hope.
