Maintenance TechnicianPerform maintenance, repair, and install general carpentry items on the property's exterior and interior.Office and Clerical SupportClerical staff typically manage the day-to-day tasks of an office, including greeting clients, answering the phones, filing documents, performing data entry, scheduling appointments, and processing information requests. Occasionally, this role may require meetings with community members, connecting people with necessary social resources, and creating informational materials. The primary function of clerical support is to maintain smooth operations.Event CoordinatorWill plan and coordinate events. They select venues, adhere to the budget, arrange onsite vendors, and ensure client satisfaction for the scheduled event.Bingo VolunteerAssist the bingo caller by attending to the client with the bingo and calling back the numbers to the caller to verify the win. Additionally, they will be selling tickets & papers. Bingo is only on the first Wednesday of each month.Janitorial VolunteerResponsibilities and duties include general cleaning and maintaining a building in good condition, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing restrooms, taking out trash and recycling, and washing and cleaning windows and mirrors.Volunteer CoordinatorManaging volunteers is vital to developing and maintaining an effective, passionate, dedicated supporter base. Manages the many moving parts of a volunteer force. Responsibilities include recruiting, tracking, engaging, and retaining volunteers.Student MentorVolunteers would engage with students, provide guidance, share experiences, and foster a positive and supportive environment. Mentoring occurs one-on-one, in groups, or in classroom settings.Community GardenerAssist with watering, weeding, planting, and harvesting as needed. To keep pathways clean and clear of debris. A basic knowledge of plant care and the use of gardening tools.Parent EducatorWill work closely with parent educators and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive support system for families within the program. Empower parents to actively participate in their children's lives and make decisions that benefit their families. |

About us | Our Programs and Services•Parenting Network - Education and tools to assist expectant mothers and fathers and parents/guardians of infants and children to equip them for pregnancy and the struggles of parenthood. •Real Life Choices - An engaging, proactive in-school program for middle and high school teens that focuses on developing healthy relationships, character building, and the realities and consequences of engaging in at-risk behaviors. •New Roots Mentoring – Influencing youth through supportive one-on-one, group, and in-school mentoring by caring adults to encourage and support them through the challenges of adolescence.•Community Garden - Allows beginners to have community garden space to grow produce and supply vegetables to the local food pantries. |
