| How you help | “When I realized that a lot of people die alone, it broke my heart. As a hospice volunteer, I have the opportunity to put smiles on faces just by helping to put a puzzle together, watch a TV show, or just share stories. The reward is the smiles on their faces, the bonds that we form, and knowledge that we gain, and I wouldn’t trade that.” |
