Ways to help

Pack Backpacks

Volunteers put food into plastic bags in preparation for placement into the backpacks. This opportunity is great for children 5 and older and recommended for Girl or Boy Scout Troops as well as other youth groups. Packing the backpacks takes approximately an hour and a half with varying times based on the number and speed of the volunteers. This is done once a month.

How you help Volunteer services that we can use help with are: packing backpacks, fundraising, and picking up and delivering backpacks to schools.
About us Jacob's Ladder is a grassroots organization founded by a group of women representing several schools, churches, and service organizations passionate to meet the need of hungry children here in Preble County. The loss of a young child, Jacob, is the inspiration for our name. Our heart is to transform that sorrow into a legacy of hope that lives through our organization. This outreach is our personal way to "Pay It Forward".
