How you helpVolunteering at KIND is a wonderful experience and a way for you to invest your time in helping children of your community learn and grow. Our volunteers have the power to change our kids lives for the better, one day at a time. Depending on their interests and experiences, volunteers may help students with homework, teach special skills, chaperone on field trips, join in the fun at recess, and more.
About usEach day at KIND offers something new and exciting. Whether it's help with academic classes, a chance to be creative in art, serving the community, or adding to their life skills, our kids are always learning. KIND features an afterschool program, a summer program, mentoring program, neighborhood improvement program, and family support program. Our programs focus on the whole child - mind, body, and soul - and your donations remove the potential barriers of price, transportation, and food, making that support accessible to every child. KIND is currently open to any child from kindergarten to 8th grade who live in zip codes 45403 and 45410. We have a long wait list, so we hope to grow the program to serve more students and older ages.
