Items we need now	Toiletries for Supply Bags We continue to help out families with large family sized shopping supply bags that have included: Hand sanitizer, sponges, cleaning supplies, paper towels, toilet paper Large family size toiletries -- shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, body wash, deodorant, perfume. We continue to seek donations for distribution including large reusable shopping bags to put donations in. We really need toiletries and kids activities! About us	Malachi Center was founded in 1985 to extend the outreach of the 140-year-old St. Malachi Parish through formal programs and services. Today, Malachi Center, a non-profit organization, serves as a safe harbor where the homeless, low income families and their children can build on their strengths and resiliency, access community resources, and take positive steps forward in their lives. We assist homeless men and women living on the Near West Side through our Shower Program which provides free showers, toiletry supplies, and clothing. We also operate an After School Program (ASP) for youth K-8 that implements tutoring, homework assistance, literacy development and career exploration. We also offer many other programs, services and referrals for adults and families that educate and encourage personal development.
