Our mission | My Furry Valentine’s mission is to significantly increase save rates and decrease the euthanasia of healthy animals in the Tri-State by helping to create the public mindset to think adoption first when looking for a new pet. |

My Furry Valentine
Ways to help | Adoption EventAre you ready to help make the 8th My Furry Valentine Mega Adoption (August 18-19) our most successful event yet? Volunteers must attend the Volunteer Orientation scheduled for Thursday, August 16th from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Sharonville Convention Center. There are many tasks that we will need help with during the event including helping rescues bring animals in, greeting and assisting guests, keeping water bowls filled, distributing swag bags, helping new pet owners to their cars, etc. There are also plenty of volunteer opportunities leading up to the event like soliciting donations, distributing posters, stuffing swag bags, promoting the event on Facebook and helping with event set-up. |

About us | Each year, over 7 million dogs and cats enter shelters nationwide, and nearly 3 million don’t make it out alive. It doesn’t have to be that way. An estimated 17 million people will add a new pet to their families this year. If more of them would choose to adopt a pet, instead of buying one from a pet store, breeder or on-line, we could significantly reduce the number of animals killed in shelters. |
