| About us | We are the research and public education affiliate of Ohio Citizen Action, the premier grassroots organizing and mobilizing team in the Midwest. Since 1975, our joint campaigns have ranged from getting organic produce into grocery stores and pesticides out of drinking water to campaign finance reform and fair utility rates. Our headquarters is in Cleveland, where in 2013 we led the campaign to stop the city from building a polluting garbage incinerator disguised as renewable energy. Since 2008, we've been focused mainly on energy, as it encompasses both our environmental/public health and consumer briefs. We and our allies launched the Power a Clean Future Ohio campaign in February 2020, which focuses on mayors and councils to take steps to address climate change and energy waste. |
