Vocational Habilitation Program Volunteer

Our Vocational Habilitation program prepares individuals to enter the workforce at entry-level positions throughout Cuyahoga County, equipping them with the vocational skills they need to succeed. We are currently seeking local professionals in an array of career fields to talk about their specific careers, instruct vocational skills, and/or provide advice about gaining entry-level employment in their field.

Adult Day Services (ADS) Program Volunteer

Our Adult Say Services Program runs Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:30pm and provides an array of educational and therapeutic services for the community members that we serve; as a volunteer, you can help with administering our various services. Our program, among other things, includes art and music therapy classes, adaptive fitness classes, and nutritional guidance courses aimed at fostering our community members’ personal growth. In this position, volunteers can tailor their volunteer work to their own interests.

How you help At Peace by Piece Cleveland, we offer an array of volunteer opportunities for community members, from high schoolers and college students interested in social work, non-profit organizations, and human services to local professionals looking to provide vocational instruction and advice in their respective career fields.
About us Peace by Piece Cleveland is dedicated to expanding the services, support, and advocacy that community members (primarily those with developmental disabilities and/or autism spectrum disorder) need to thrive. ​Our goals are to: Provide innovative, compassionate, and exceptional services to the diverse group of community members we serve; Continually expand the population we serve to ensure that all community members receive the support they need; Devote our resources to further develop the educational, vocational, and therapeutic programs available to individuals with disabilities; Enact positive change through our services and programs so that our community members feel more included, empowered, and independent within their communities, making the greater Cleveland community more accessible in general; Increase community knowledge and support of individuals with disabilities, working as an advocate for them throughout Cuyahoga County.​
