We know that the pandemic has disproportionately affected students in at-risk neighborhoods. We will not allow the limitations of physical connection to impede our ability to CO-NNECT hearts and CO-CREATE music. Our team of artists are spending extra time creating online resources, such as, music, video, contests, tutorials and our first virtual summer hip-hop camps. We will break out into small groups to create a consistent rhythm for youth to explore their passion of creating music while exploring real topics of health and wellness. We stand ready to shift our virtual camps into actual studio sessions at our studio spaces as soon as it is safe to do so. About us	Our neighborhood recording studios and screen printing shops offer workshops, summer camps and in-school programs that have helped over 6000 youth and adults write songs and design t-shirts that address social justice, education, and health concerns. Youth grow in confidence and character as they craft their message and build strong relationships. Young adults develop transferable employment and leadership skills while planning, producing, and promoting our collaborative work. Professional artists develop new work, perform community concerts and mentor youth in the heart of the city.
