How you help We have provided hundreds of meals and over a thousand safe nights to women in need. Our volunteers come from all backgrounds and have a range of skills to contribute and we couldn't provide all our programs and services without them.
About us Safe Harbor is a 24/7 residential and faith-based program that empowers women toward healing and equips them with life skills for quality living. Safe Harbor House was started as the first initiative of SiFi Ministry, Inc. Joy Fagan had been teaching women’s ministry classes at a local Christian university for 15 years when she volunteered to become a chaplain at the Clark County Jail. Hearing the stories of women whose lives had been shattered by various traumatic events, as well as by drug and alcohol abuse, she was moved to begin a home where these women could experience healing and be equipped to become contributing members of their community.
