| Ways to help | Comfort Team VolunteerSGM Hospital Comfort Team volunteers are the heart of SGM. Servant-hearts called to come alongside grieving mothers and fathers in their darkest moments to shine the light of hope and love in unlikely places. SGM Comfort Companions, SGM Comfort Doulas, and SGM Remembrance Photographers have the unique opportunity to stand on the sacred ground where heaven meets earth. There is no greater privilege than to serve as the hands and feet of Jesus, acting as a vessel of His love while a tiny life slips from this earth to heaven. Every life is matters, no matter how brief. Every life is worthy of both celebration and grief. The SGM Comfort Team is a demanding role, and we often refer to those who answer this special calling as “gladiators” for a reason. There is great sacrifice in the hours of love and dedication poured into being willing to leave the comfort of your home, family, and schedule to give of your time and heart to help change the story for a grieving family. |

We offer a myriad of in-person and virtual support services and resources for families walking through loss in any gestation of pregnancy and throughout infancy, as well as those who are navigating the unknowns of a life-limiting prenatal diagnosis. |

| About us | Sufficient Grace Ministries for Women, a 501 (c ) 3 non-profit, non-denominational organization, was founded by Kelly Gerken in 2004, with the purpose of reaching out to women and families to offer comfort, encouragement and hope. The Dreams of You division of this ministry was created specifically to provide comfort to women and families who have lost a baby through miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant death. Sufficient Grace Ministries offers a comprehensive list of support options for bereaved parents, and parents currently carrying a baby with a life-limiting diagnosis. A team of staff, leaders, and volunteers helps us offer the wide range of free services we make available to more than 1,200 bereaved families each year, worldwide, fulfilling the mission of SGM to offer the same comfort to others we received from the Lord in our time of need. Our mission is to provide exemplary support for families and to train others to do so. Bereaved parents are never asked to pay for products or services. SGM is supported through donations from individuals, churches, businesses, and other organizations. Currently, over 150 volunteers serve with SGM. |
