Ways to help | Stock Market GameThe Stock Market Game™ program is an online market simulation allowing students to manage a virtual stock portfolio with real-time data and compete against other teams and schools regionally. The Stock Market Game relies on financial donations as well as volunteers to continue enhancing core academic curricula.Personal Finance ChallengeThe Ohio Personal Finance Challenge (OPFC) is an opportunity for high school students to demonstrate their knowledge of Personal Finance by competing with other students across the state in an ONLINE competition. The OPFC relies on volunteers to continue enhancing core academic curricula.Student Enterprise ProgramIn StEP, elementary students earn school currency for positive behaviors such as completing homework on time, arriving at school on time, showing academic achievement, behaving well, etc. When we aren't in the middle of a pandemic, the Center provides an on-site school store at some school buildings four times per year, where students have the opportunity to purchase school supplies and novelty items. For 2020-2021, we've adapted StEP to a virtual environment, and need volunteers to help us distribute earned items to the students, organize deliveries, etc. |

About us | The work of the Economics Center focuses on providing understandable, and yes, even FUN financial and economic education. For 40 years, the Center’s education team has been equipping students in grades K-12 with practical economic knowledge and skills.
