Youth Opportunities Unlimited (Y.O.U.)
About us | Y.O.U.’s goal is to see that teens and young adults in Northeast Ohio are well prepared to enter the workforce. Y.O.U. is deeply committed to collaborating with other local youth-serving organizations to build the strongest workforce network possible. Y.O.U. school-based programs help hundreds of teens annually prepare for the workforce through classroom-based interventions focusing on career readiness, entrepreneurship training, and internships. These programs help teens graduate high school and pursue post-secondary success, teach youth how to create a business plan and prepare youth for an entry-level job. Y.O.U. community-based programs help nearly 5,000 teens and young adults annually, preparing them for career pathways through summer and year-round jobs, internships, and industry-specific credential training. The programs are offered in collaboration with other local workforce development and health and human service organizations. |
