How you helpWCA Dayton is able to thrive because of the time and talents of our community. We rely on volunteers to help fulfill a variety of daily, weekly and monthly tasks of the organization. We’re always in need of volunteers to help in both direct and indirect service capacities. Whether you enjoy working with children, cooking or clerical work, YWCA Dayton has an opportunity for you!
About usIn 1870, seven women joined together to ask of themselves and of the Dayton community what they could do to “elevate women in our midst.” Their response became the foundation for YWCA Dayton. YWCA Dayton is the oldest women's organization in Dayton, Ohio, providing the only domestic violence shelters in Montgomery and Preble counties, Ohio.
