Mary
A driver picked up Mary from her home to take her to a long overdue medical appointment. During COVID many in-person doctor visits were cancelled. Mary had not left her home for four weeks, and was so very happpy to get out and have a conversation with the driver. She asked the driver to “take the long way home” so she could enjoy the spring sunshine and emerging blossoms.
We all have a new understanding of social distancing. For older adults, social isolation continues to be a significant issue. STC is proud, and pleased to be able to continue to serve the older adults in our communities by providing access to medical, dialysis and food.
