Envision the Future of the United States

This will be a half-day conference honoring the National Day of Service on January 18th sponsored by the Presidential Inauguration Committee. The theme corresponds to Envision the Future of the United States as President-Elect mentions multiple times a call for unity and a stronger community. The novel coronavirus has affected millions of Americans through unemployment and the lock-downs, increase in cases and more families being affected by COVID-19, etc.

For the National Day of Service on January 18th, 2020, we will be connecting with the environment and focusing on environmental clean-up. We will be starting the day with an opening session than a two-hour panel of five people connected with the environment/agriculture/natural resources/urban management/etc. The names will be announced shortly. After the panel, we will be taking a short break and returning back to the Zoom call at 1 PM EST for an open forum discussion various topics like Environmental injustice, environmental/sustainability, COVID-19/other future pandemic-related issues, etc. The closing session will be held at 3 PM EST as a reflection of the speaker’s discussion and open forum discussion while we move forward as a nation/community.
