Please Join US in “A National Day of Service” in Hocking County

The Hocking County Democratic Party is pleased to participate in the 2021 Martin Luther King, Jr NATIONAL DAY OF SERVICE coordinated by the Presidential Inaugural Committee.
In cooperation with other caring citizens of Hocking County the goal of this call to a Day of Service is to provide support to some of our own neighbors who are in need right here in Hocking County. We recognize our ongoing duty as citizens to help others. During the pandemic it is perhaps even more critical for us to show our care and concern for others. Due to concerns regarding the transmission of the Coronavirus this event will be conducted virtually.

Here’s how YOU can participate locally in “A National Day of Service”

Together with our community partners, we are coordinating this effort to provide support to two worthy Hocking County organizations that provide support to many members of our local community – the Logan-Hocking Middle School Food Pantry and Hocking Hills Inspire Shelter.

Contributions to the Logan-Hocking Middle School Food Pantry will be used to purchase food and non-food items for the pantry and should be made by sending your check made out to the Logan-Hocking Middle School directly to Logan Hocking Middle School,1 Middle School Drive, Logan, Ohio (43138). Please be sure to write FOOD PANTRY on the memo line.

Contributions to the Hocking Hills Inspire Shelter will help defray the cost of obtaining necessary personal care items and will help the shelter provide immediate support to local individuals in their time of need.
