MLK Day of Service Collection for YWCA Northwest Ohio Domestic Violence Shelter

Join us on Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service to help provide necessary supplies for the YWCA Northwest Ohio Domestic Violence Shelter. We will be collecting items at Gathering Volumes for the week before and including MLK Day on Monday, January 18. We will then deliver all of the donated items to the YWCA Northwest Ohio Domestic Violence Shelter.
Contributions – The Shelter welcomes both monetary and in-kind donations. Their wish list is located here: https://www.ywcanwo.org/what-were-doing/putting-art-into-action/
Daily Needs – These range from laundry detergent to educational toys for the children’s area.

Notes from the organizer: Gathering Volumes is following all COVID-19 Ohio requirements and is ADA accessible. All events hosted in partnership with the PIC on the National Day of Service must comply with the following guidelines as well as the most up-to-date CDC and local health and safety guidance. Those guidelines could include indoor and outdoor gathering and capacity limits, social distancing, and travel restrictions. When you do, please ensure that everyone is at least 15 feet away from anyone else. - Participants must maintain six (6) to ten (10) feet of separation from other people at all times. - Participants should wash hands frequently for at least 20 seconds, especially after using the restroom or touching high touch surfaces. - If participants feel symptomatic or display any symptoms, please refrain from attending the event.
