Forward United NEO and Magistrate Kani Hightower are hosting an event celebrating MLK Day of Service and the Presidential Inauguration! We will be writing 200 greeting cards to be sent to older, shut-in, low-income residents in the city of Akron to send them good wishes for MLK Day and for the New Year!
In addition, we will be distributing 4700 3 ply masks to food pantries in Twinsburg, Northfield and the inner city of Akron to be given to those persons receiving food donations for free! This is part of a 5 million mask donation to the Inaugural Committee by Ford Motor Company!

Notes from the organizer: Masks are required for all participants at all times, including while participating in outdoor activities. Refrain from eating or drinking as much as possible. When you do, please ensure that everyone is at least 15 feet away from anyone else. Participants must maintain six (6) to ten (10) feet of separation from other people at all times. Participants should wash hands frequently for at least 20 seconds, especially after using the restroom or touching high touch surfaces. When washing hands is not possible use hand sanitizer. All attendees will be asked the COVID-19 symptoms questionnaire and answer no to all questions before participating.
