About this event

An easy, sit-down activity for a meaningful, all-ages, hands-on volunteer commemoration the birthday of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. This work is also educational — and makes a great social pastime: just add your own guests!

We will adhere to strict COVID-19 safety protocol – volunteers must wear masks, practice social distancing, and refrain from attending if they display symptoms.

Notes from the organizer: Accessible to all: we can put the kit in your car trunk. If car free, we can put the kit on your bicycle rack or in two cloth bags. Nearest public transit stop (RTA redline @ West Side Market) is 1/2 mile away. All events hosted in partnership with the PIC on the National Day of Service must comply with the following guidelines as well as the most up-to-date CDC and local health and safety guidance. Those guidelines could include indoor and outdoor gathering and capacity limits, social distancing, and travel restrictions.
