As a volunteer you'll work with groups of grade school children, to give them an engaging and educational experience of what life was like for people who lived during the 1800s. Our Ed Programs emphasize hands on activities to keep children engaged as they learn. (volunteers wear period clothing during these programs)

281-CARE is a 24-hour telephone crisis intervention, information and referral service. A 40-hour training will be provided along with ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Training). Requirements: High School diploma or GED, background check, 5-10 hours per week (hours are flexible) and a three month commitment.

There is no specific age requirement to be a 4-H Volunteer. Youth Volunteers, with the emotional maturity and leadership ability necessary to function in a volunteer role, are important partners in Ohio 4-H programs.
