Assist with the organization, promotion, and set up/tear down of events. Help a little or help a lot – every little bit counts!

Individuals pick up and serve food and beverages. Most importantly they provide a warm welcome to all those attending grief support groups.

Individuals assist with events (set up, material prep, clean up, etc.) such as the Summertime Classic golf event that benefits programming at Fernside.

Individuals co-lead a support group in our evening program. They help create a caring environment in which group members share their stories, feelings and memories and discuss how to cope with challenges in their lives.

Individuals provide help with preparation of materials for use in our support groups.

Volunteers can assist with class instruction to help provide more teaching and training to youth and adults.

Be a mentor and assist youth with mental health issues to establish a meaningful role within society.

Provide literacy assistance to help youth prepare for a successful future.

Assist the clerical staff. Office volunteers help extend our resources so we can reach more individuals.

As Transforming Jail Ministries continues to grow, more training will be added to accomplish the following: link our ministry efforts to that of other counties and states, provide resources and information about jail ministry to the general public , sharpen the skills and renew the energy of our Chaplains and Worship Teams, and stay current…
