Our ambassador team helps throughout the museum and spreads their enthusiasm with everything they do! If you’d like to join, we’d love to add you to the team. No prior experience is necessary—just an interest in the activities and programs we offer.

The Taft’s team of dedicated docents boasts a rich history of making a difference by providing interactive experiences for visitors of all ages. From art-making to tour-giving, docents work with museum staff to engage audiences both inside the galleries and outside the museum walls.

Our volunteers are part and parcel of the Fitton experience. Among other things, they help make our guests feel welcome at our shows, taking tickets and serving as ushers. They help our staff prepare materials for classes and workshops. They help handle large groups when we’re off site for outreach programs.
