THCC hosts a number of fundraising and outreach events each year. Help to support these events by being a part of the planning committee, help the day of the event, promote the event, or be a sponsor.

The Corporate Committee partners with companies to share best practices to attract, retain and encourage women in the workplace to reach their full potential.

The Engagement committee is responsible for getting the word out about The Women’s Fund and inviting new people to get involved through planning events and engaging people on social media.

The Advocacy Committee addresses issues that impact women’s self-sufficiency including researching policies, educating legislators and raising grassroots awareness for our work.

The Women’s Fund is a non-profit organization and we rely on the generosity of hundreds of donors – individuals, companies and foundations- to invest in our work. The Development Committee creates a strategy and executes a plan to invite, cultivate and retain supporters.

We like house parties, barbecues, potluck dinners, and any other gathering that brings neighbors together to learn more about each other and what RefugeeConnect is doing to link communities together.

RefugeeConnect is only greater than the sum of its parts through our extensive partnerships with local businesses and nonprofit, faith-based, and civic organizations. We offer both basic and advanced training on welcoming refugees, engaging volunteer opportunities, long-term mentorship programs, and many other avenues for community involvement.

Our Ambassadors serve as volunteers, mentors, organizers and advocates for RefugeeConnect within the Greater Cincinnati community. If you would like to volunteer your time and skills in direct service with RefugeeConnect, attending an Ambassador Training is the first step.

Help with business mentorship for our existing co-ops and co-op entrepreneurs, fundraising support and mentorship (ie. how to develop major donor programs, events, annual giving campaigns, grant writing), database maintenance, outreach support to specific communities and constituency groups and more!

You can help in a variety of tasks for developing new or converting existing businesses into worker owned coops.
