As a volunteer, you’ll be interacting with guests, answering content and directional questions, and ensuring the safety of artifacts. You’ll work alongside staff to welcome and engage with guests in our temporary and traveling exhibits. Exhibits change regularly so there is always something exciting and new.
Do you love to dress in period costumes? Are science stage-shows your jam? Does the thought of being on a stage float your boat? You’ll work closely with our staff to deliver quality exhibit interpretations by giving context and a personal touch to the information presented. Volunteer to tutor children or adults for 30 minutes a week and help change a life!
Volunteers with the following skills are needed: computer usage, manual labor, marketing, fundraising, event planning, salesforce, and front desk.
Help monitor the gallery and assist customers in the gift shop on Sat
Help at special events with registration, food service, leading art activities and set-up & clean-up. (must be 14+)
Help with yard work, painting, and building improvements.
Work with children and assist art instructors in after-school art classes. (must be 14+)
