Christian Educators develop the curriculum that we provide into lessons for the campers. There is an hour Christian Education lesson for groups each day. The Christian Educator plans and leads outdoor Vespers worship service each evening.
Volunteer Summer Staff positions are available for each week. Volunteers will be asked to help the Summer Staff perform day-to-day tasks, such as supervising campers, preparing and leading activities, and some general cleaning. It is great for someone that wanted to be on Summer Staff but could commit to the whole summer.
Winter Storage, Painting, Cabinet Makeovers, Remodeling, Pool Repairs, Trail Maintenance, etc…
Volunteer Nurses area responsible for attending to campers’ medical needs. Nurses dispense medication to campers and apply first aid as directed by our Camp Doctor. A Volunteer Nurse must have a current RN certification. LPN’s can volunteer under the direction of a Volunteer RN.
Volunteers are needed to help with an assortment of daily tasks, including light cleaning, straightening, librarian services, or other various activities depending upon the need.
Wilson Health Hospice volunteers offer help to terminally ill patients and their families. Volunteers visit patients, offer respite to caregivers, provide transportation, offer help with light housekeeping or meal preparation and assist staff with clerical duties and fundraising projects.
The Wilson Auxiliary operates the hospital’s gift shop and organizes fundraising events throughout the year with proceeds benefiting our patients through new equipment purchases. The volunteers also work as greeters, deliver mail and flowers, offer clerical support and help in clinical departments.
Opportunities include helping at the food pantry, clothing closet, and special events.
Anything from baking cupcakes to decorating to helping with games and crafts.
