Being a trail runner may be the most relaxing community service work you can do. Come out as a volunteer trail runner for a day. It’s a great way to relax, meet the dogs and their people, and do a good deed all at the same time.

Student-run clubs with educational information about HIV/AIDS, SOTENI, and/or Kenya. Clubs raise money, collect clothing, and acquire medical supplies to send to Kenya’s Villages of Hope. They also help support children through SOTENI’s Sponsorship program and teach responsible behavior that prevents AIDS.

In the Cincinnati office, assignments might include organizing special events, creating publicity materials, updating the website, writing proposals, assisting with fund-raising campaigns, refining donor lists, and completing clerical tasks.

Interns in Cincinnati work on projects that advance the strategic goals of SOTENI International while gaining experience. Projects can include fund-raising, volunteer management, grant writing, and other administrative functions.

Serve on a team researching the history of the White Water Shakers. Help us locate manuscripts, photos, and artifacts for our Shaker museum.

Walk For Wishes is a nationwide Make-A-Wish® fundraiser that celebrates the more than 285,000 wishes that have already been granted, while raising funds for future wishes. Volunteers will help with registration, directing on the route, food and drink.

Be a weekly tutor and make a difference in a child’s life forever! You may choose the subject, grade level(s), and the day(s) and timeframe (Mon.- Fri. 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM) that works for you.

We welcome office teams, Sunday School classes, youth groups, etc… Whether doing a deep clean on the house, helping with yard work, painting a resident’s room, or getting plugged into another project at the house, we can put you and the women to work.
