To bring the joy and comfort of animal companionship to residents in nursing homes and hospitals with SICSA’s adoptable animals, as well as providing socialization for the animal.
To assist with our Youth Programs, including birthday parties, mini-camps, tours, and SICSA Saturday programming.
Foster Volunteers care for homeless puppies, dogs, cats and kittens in their home for a short period of time until the animals are adopted. We are happy to accommodate Foster Volunteers and schedules in a variety of ways.
MVCCA is a nonprofit run completely by volunteers. If you enjoy helping others, are looking for a great way to support the arts, and enjoy meeting new people, please consider volunteering. Volunteer opportunities include: event usher, event ticket checker, mailing/calling, helping sell program ads, event coordination, and board member.
Interested in volunteering or want to help with a special project? We welcome individuals and groups to come and work on many different areas of need.
We provide 14 meals a week (breakfast and dinner daily), and need volunteers for dinners 7 days a week. We currently do not have a full kitchen (only a warming kitchen) and so we rely on people, groups, churches, and families to bring food in to serve each night.
Community engagers that raise awareness of Alzheimer’s Association programs and link medical professionals to these services. These volunteers serve as a liaison between the Alzheimer’s Association and local medical professionals. Tasks include direct phone calls to physician offices, preparing direct mailings, delivering information to physician office locations.

Program Tech Support volunteers assist Alzheimer’s Association staff and volunteers deliver education and support groups through virtual platforms.
Assist with the planning and execution of fundraisers such as Walk to End Alzheimer’s, The Longest Day and Memory Day, Committee member tasks include recruiting team members, raising revenue, increasing awareness and implementing event activities.
