Make visits to patients and families at their place of residence for companionship and to give the caregiver a much needed break. Visit patients in facilities, read to them, or help with feeding.
Offer a helping hand by running errands for a patient, or tidying up their home.
Volunteers offer our patients and families respite, not only during the patient’s dying process, but also when urgent companionship is needed.
Bring comfort and peace to patients and families by becoming a certified therapy team with your pet.
Work with our Generations of Life Community Bereavement Resource Center. Offer bereavement visits and phone calls to bereaved family members. Assist with adult, children and teen bereavement programs.
Assist with hospice-sponsored and community events.
