The Adopt a Park program is where a company, group of individuals, or other organizations agree to clean up a park six or more times a year. Groups who adopt a park will get signage placed at the park that they have adopted and will have access to safety vests, trash bags, and gloves.

We need help to get our newsletter ready to mail. 2 or 3 or 4 volunteers are needed to fold, tab and label our monthly newsletter. Usually needed the third week of the month for 3-4 hours if 3 or 4 people help out. The more hands, the faster the job gets done!

Collecting donated items (heartworm medicine and flea medicine, especially, as well as crates, toys food, and other medicine).

Helping Seasonal Events for our Parks and Recreation Department, such as the Fine Arts Fair, Red, White and Kaboom!, Touch-a-Truck, Farm-R-Treat, Light Up Fairfield and more!

Adopt-a-Roadway or Adopt-a-Park is a program that utilizes volunteers to help clean up our streets and parks.

RASKALS: Random Acts of Simple Kindness Affecting Local Seniors is a program for individuals and groups to help Fairfield seniors. Twice each year, in April and November, teams of volunteers go out into Fairfield to help our local Seniors with basic yard clean-up.

Work with Taking Root staff to help plant trees at Taking Root planting events. Need for help will vary depending on current projects.

There are additional ways of helping at our facility such as sorting donations, assembling snack packs, and toiletry bags.

Ride on the bus directly feeding and clothing those we serve. The bus can accommodate 4 to 5 people per service trip.
