If you can only help out occasionally we have several ways for you to help. You can assist our staff in taking the elderly on social outings, celebrate birthday parties, assist with art programs, and assist with transportation, clean-up, and set-up for taking the elderly to visit nearby nursing homes.
Little Brothers–Friends of the Elderly celebrate the holidays with our elderly friends because this is when they can feel the loneliest. Volunteers help with Wednesdays on the Green, Second Sunday Family Showtime, and Sunset Salons.
You will be asked to help with various tasks such as set-up, clean-up, handing out information, serving food, signing people in, or directing people to where they need to be.
Help us out with events and programs that we do in the community such as nutrition tables, physical activity events, health fairs, or other community events.
Assist in setting up for lunch, overseeing students at lunch time, and cleaning up after lunch.
Preparing materials for CCA by cutting, laminating, and gluing materials.
Help keep our center clean. Includes cleaning classrooms, sanitizing toys, and wiping down spaces.
