The center has a zero-turning radius mower and other lawn care equipment available. You can either volunteer to work in the yard by mowing, plant care, weeding (weed eating), pruning, etc. Just let a staff member know you’re interested. Mowing needs to be done at least once per week, as does weed eating.
On the 3rd Tuesday of every month the Dayton Food Bank come to the Fairborn Senior Center. We always need volunteers to help pass out food. The Food Bank is open 10:00am – 12:00pm, we ask volunteers to arrive at 9:30am to help.

Assisting with data entry, phone calls and online projects. More of the office side of things.
By taking the dogs for walks and providing them with the playtime and socialization they require, it prepares them for a successful adoption.

We need help with basic maintenance work to difficult building maintenance to help us maintain our Blessed building.
We are in need of a volunteer to help 1 or 2 times a month (very flexible on the days/times).
Greet families, answer phones, coordinate connections with Care Guides, provide general clerical and support for daily operations.
