Get trained to get someone in a mental health crisis to help. This training is intended for adults. There is a youth-specific training that we also offer.
Help with our gardens. We also have opportunities outdoors and indoors depending on the weather.
Options include art, yoga, group therapy, or other skills you can provide.
We’re seeking board members to grow our current group from 7 to 12; especially members who share our values. Relevant experience in nonprofit leadership (Board President), nonprofit governance, food retail/restaurant, finance and legal or human resources.
The Center has many random projects that need completed. They depend on the group size and the ages of the volunteers.
Volunteers can help support our Bookclubs, Arts programs and STEM programs.
Help in the studio and office
Pantry volunteers help stock and distribute food to the families that we serve, separate items from cases / bulk quantities at the pantry, help clients select food items during pantry operations, coordinate pantry food donations from member churches, and more.
Volunteer drivers needed to help us pick up animals. Must have valid drivers license and insurance.
Volunteers are needed to help work with the animals, feed the animals and help keep the shelter clean.
