The Cincinnati Opera Guild is a group of passionate individuals dedicated to raising positive awareness of Cincinnati Opera and the operatic art form through volunteer, educational, and social gatherings. The Guild plays an active role in supporting Cincinnati Opera’s education program, which offers a unique series of performances and talks for schools and community groups.

As an usher, you’ll make it possible for patrons to have a truly enjoyable Music Hall experience by providing a smile, a friendly greeting, accurate directions, or an extra service.

Supernumeraries, or “supers,” function like extras in movies – they are non-singing, non-speaking parts that help bring the opera to life. Every season, we cast supernumeraries, and each production offers unique opportunities to participate. As a Super, you will share the stage with internationally renowned artists and work with celebrated directors and conductors.

Volunteer practicing dentists or dental hygienists that give time serving at CincySmiles Dental Center.

Members serve for a year and help plan events and overall development of CincySmiles Foundation.

Collect and assemble kits, including a toothbrush, toothpaste, floss and a dental care tip booklet, which CincySmiles patients will receive.

Professional or talented amateur photographers make a huge difference in saving the lives of animals. You’ll help at events or to capture animals in their loving foster homes to help them get adopted more quickly.

As Transforming Jail Ministries continues to grow, more training will be added to accomplish the following: link our ministry efforts to that of other counties and states, provide resources and information about jail ministry to the general public , sharpen the skills and renew the energy of our Chaplains and Worship Teams, and stay current…

As part of the application process, Clergy who enter into TJM’s Clergy Contact Visiting Program are provided a training orientation: Sessions are offered six times annually, the second Tuesday of the month in January, March, May, July, September and November.

New Worship Teams are welcomed with an orientation that covers the following: history of Transforming Jail Ministries, policies and procedures for Worship Teams, focus of the Worship Team ministry, and the future direction of Transforming Jail Ministries. Throughout the year, Worship Teams meet three times to receive ongoing training and supervision and support.
