Assist CAA staff with audit of existing Facility Operations manuals (Aronoff Center and Music Hall); help to provide outline of needed content; assist in creation of best practices for structure of documents.

Assist in special events by collating handouts, decorating, ushering, or greeting guests.

Assist clients and give them much-appreciated warm attention as they “shop” pantry.

Mentor a child and be a positive adult role model.

Drive individuals to places they might not otherwise be able to go such as the grocery store, doctors appointments, or shopping.

Help educate seniors about how to avoid Medicare fraud and protect themselves from identity theft.

Various roles that help seniors understand how to get the assistance they need and exercise their rights.

Basically, you agree to accept referrals for clients who cannot be helped over the phone by our Legal Hotline. The clients need more personal attention, usually at a fee the clients can afford. **must be an attorney**

There is so much work to be done “behind the scenes” in order to make WordPlay’s events and programs run smoothly. These opportunities cover a wide range of work, from physical to administrative. Volunteers may help us paint a new program space; print, fold and/or pack materials for an outreach event; or hang up flyers…

From open mic nights to Ride for Reading, WordPlay hosts several community events throughout the year. And the more people we have around to help, the better! Duties may include setting up/cleaning up; distributing flyers; greeting attendees and showing them where to go; serving food and drinks; and taking photos.
